Electrical Engineer (click for more information)

Nagoya Wel Co., Ltd. is a Japanese based company that has been operating from Aisai-City, Japan since 1969. Our company has been committed to the design, fabrication, and delivery of state-of-the-art automated welding equipment. We have been providing the automotive industry with our innovative products for 30 years. Our equipment ranges from completely automated resistance welders (spot, seam, and projection) to robotic arc welders (TIG, MIG/MAG, and Plasma cells).

As a result of our efforts to expand our product ranges and grow our business, Nagoya-Wel U.S Inc. has emerged. We are now searching for qualified candidates to help us reach our goals.

Candidates must possess:

Candidates must demonstrate:

    • Attention to detail
    • Technical competence
    • Ability and desire to learn new practices
    • Emphasis on troubleshooting and problem solving

The responsibilities for this open position include but are not limited to:

    • Provide hands-on support to Design and Electrical engineers
    • Follow a project from concept to prototype
    • Troubleshoot equipment and implement necessary changes
    • Aid in the fabrication of new jigs and modification of existing jigs

This position will be directly involved with:

    • Hands-on fabrication of jigs and dies at our facility
    • Equipment integration and plant start-up assistance
    • Process implementation and product launch support
    • Troubleshooting equipment at customer’s facilities

Candidates for this position must be willing to:

    • Be hands-on out on the shop floor
    • Be willing to learn different welding methods
      • (Robotic and manual MIG, MAG, TIG and Stick welding)
    • Be willing to learn to use different tool shop equipment
      • (Lathe, Mill, Saws, Drills, Grinders, and other hand tools)
    • Learn function, uses, and implementation of different electrical sensor
      • (optical, magnetic read, proximity, and limit switches)
    • Be willing to learn the function of different power transmission devices
      • (hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders, actuators, and valves)
    • Learn the function, uses and implementation of electrical components
      • (Robots, encoders, electric motors)
    • Travel to customer facilities to install and provide support for our equipment

Requirements:

    • Experience in OMRON and Mitsubishi PLC Programming
    • Experience in Mitsubishi, Keyence, and Proface Touch Panels
